Does one need Salvation?

*
Some may think they don't need to be saved from sin, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

A person may believe he is alright because he attends church, or he has not committed murder, theft, adultery... the visible sins. He may not realize that he has hidden sins not known unto others, but known unto God.

God's word says:
...a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, Galatians 2:16

One's life may be smooth without much turmoil, therefore not feeling the need for salvation, thinking that he is not a sinner.

The scriptures teaches:
All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Romans 3:23

Perhaps some may have never heard the truth being preached, but just lulled to sleep.

God's word says:
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

You may know the above and not want to be brought under conviction. Salvation brings also its consequences of cleaning up one's life and forsake sin... leaving the world behind.

One may not want to give this up, or straight forward rejecting the Gospel. But without salvation in Christ, nobody will enter the Kingdom of heaven. This means that hell is the place for the degenerated/unconverted soul.

God loves mankind and does not want that anyone perishes, nevertheless many perish. Does this mean that God sends souls to hell? Definitely NOT! He gives mankind the choice.

God's word says:
"And ye have not His word abiding in you: for whom He hath sent, Him ye believe not." John 5:38

Salvation means accepting the Sacrifice made by Jesus Christ, for our sins; the sacrifice of "self"; surrending a sin-sick life unto God; turning our back to the world and follow in the footsteps of Christ.

It may not be a question of "not knowing this" but "not wanting it".

The choice needs to be made by each one of us. It is either one; heaven or hell.

Be wise and choose you today Christ.

In Christ.
