Father's Love involves Discipline

Beloved, take the word of GOD VERY SERIOUS, we cannot just pick scriptures we like and shuffle other ones under the carpet and then do our own thing. We take and consider all of God's word, or none at all.

God's word will judge your actions... the way you talk, the way you dress, the flirting eyes, your lust, your secret life... you know all about it... and so does our heavenly Father.

There are things in your life you need/must clean up because they are not pleasing unto God, nor acceptable in His eyes. He will not allow your wrongs to pass through unnoticeable.

Love NOT the world, NEITHER the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is NOT IN HIM.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is NOT of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF GOD ABIDETH FOR EVER.
 1 John 2:15-17

Even in our places of fellowship there is worldliness which can easily be noticed. I am greatly moved by the Holy Spirit as I write this message to you. My heart cries for what gets around and is accepted as called being "Christian".

Let me tell you this... it is known that God keeps His promises, but do not forget that there is more written in God's word than only His promises. The Father will also keep us responsible to abide to the rest of the Scripture. He will reinforce His demand for HOLY living, if you call yourself a Child of God. This may find you on the "path" of dicipline for your own good, which may be far from pleasant.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Hebrew 12:11

There is HOPE for those who seek Him. His Light shines in the darkness and His promise is seen in the rainbow.

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Colossians 1:27,28

Christ in us means that His transforming power is making the difference in our lives. If one does not see any difference in his/her life, they better go down on their knees, submit and surrender their ALL, walk in obedience unto His word and stretch out for MORE OF CHRIST.

An empty drinking glass can be filled to the brim, so it is with our personal life... empty of self and full of Christ. AMEN!

Be committed to God's word, act upon it. To abide in God takes more than being saved.

May our Father confirm His own Word to your heart, I pray.

Dr. Trudy Veerman

Something To Die For?

O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared Thy wondrous works.

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed Thy strength unto this generation, and Thy power to every one that is to come. Psalm 71:17,18

And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Isaiah 46:4

I would like to share something with you, which popped up in my mind just after I posted the picture of the old man dying to do this and dying to do that...
What I will be writing below is about LIVING....

Some years ago I went back to my home country to visit my aging parents. My father was then 82 years young. Has been active his whole life and "CAN NOT" was NOT in his dictionary. He would always tell us this when we complained about a difficult chore we had to do.

After I was there a couple of days he ask me if I would like to go with him.
"Sure, but where are you going dad?", I replied. "Oh"... he said, "I'm going to visit the old people in the nursing home."
I looked astonished and with wide open eyes, for I couldn't believe what I heard him saying. I replied: "Visiting... the old people? You are old yourself." And I never will forget his answer... He said: "NO, I AM NOT."

My father was a remarkable man. He was given up to die close to the end of WorldWar2, when he was captured by the Germans. He was then around 45 years old. He most likely would have said... "Dying? NO, I AM NOT."

He lived to be 87 and died suddenly while sitting on the chesterfield beside my mother. He was a great inventor in technology, never wasted one minute of his life.

I am now certain that I inherited much of my father, and after some more years I will inherit a lot more from my heavenly Father. AMEN!
Praise His name!

The glory of young men is their strength, but the splendor of old men is their gray hair. Proverbs 20:29

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Isaiah 40:29

The Lighthouse

Picture taken at Peggy's Cove, NovaScotia. Copyright 2011 Dr. Trudy Veerman

Jesus said: “I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12

If it was not for the LIGHTHOUSE, where would my soul be?
My ship would have landed on the rocks.
I would not have anywhere to go, only in the outer darkness with NO peace, NO happiness, NO joy. This about makes me weep.

Thank you Jesus for searching for me with Your Eternal Light. Thank You for rescuing me.
SHINE JESUS SHINE!

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Glory to the name of the Lord! AMEN and AMEN.

Amazing Grace...Will always be my song of praise.
For it was grace, that brought me liberty,
I do not know, just why He came to love me so.
He looked beyond my faults and saw my need.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary,
To view the cross, where Jesus died for me
How marvelous, His grace that caught my falling soul
He Looked beyond my faults and saw my need.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary,
To view the cross, where Jesus died for me
How marvelous, His grace that caught my falling soul
He Looked beyond my faults and saw my needs,
He Looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

Some Things Do Matter

Picture of trilliums in the woods by Dr. Trudy Veerman

Seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity... Jeremiah 29:13,14

Only with God we can move mountains and jump over obstacles.
Only through His eyes we see blue skies, even if it is dark.
Only with God's love we can forgive our enemies.
Only in God's strength can we walk the road of hardship, without
feeling the pain.
Only by His mercy can we stand tall and not move an inch.
Only because He revealed His Word to us, can we be grounded in Him.
And it is by His Word that we live, stand and move.

All praises and Glory to the Father.
AMEN AND AMEN!

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Hebrews 12:12,13

Dear Lord, may my life be Your life and Your holiness my holiness. May Your glory be revealed through my life, I pray, so others may grab it and receive deliverance, salvation and healing. AMEN!!

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. Joel 2: 1,2

ARE YOU PREPARED? JESUS REPEATED A SIMILAR MESSAGE AND STILL IT SEEMS THAT THIS WORLD HAS MUCH ATTRACTION FOR MANY LUKE WARM CHRISTIANS... SO CALLED "THE 5 FOOLISH VIRGINS".

I know I have mentioned this before, but it cannot be said often enough, just in case I missed someone. Get ready... "BIG events will start to unfold", which you will recognize and see with your own eyes, as time closes in.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
But Thou, O God, shalt bring them (the enemy) down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in Thee. Psalm 55:22,23

With other words... DO NOT FEAR those that are against you, your enemies, they surely shall not outlive you and they will be overcome by calamities.
God is your Helper, your Staff and Shield, your Defender. AMEN!

You stick with the Lord ALL THE WAY and He will go with you in ALL HIS POWER. Jesus gave His life for you and you should give your life for/to Him. God reached out to you and now it is your turn to reach out to others.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. Isaiah 41:13

I am the Lord, God, who brought you out of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Deut. 5:6

The above is ALL that matters.
