Another Day... Another Year...

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23:6

There is nothing so wonderful than allowing the Scripture to speak to our hearts. It are God's personal words which reach out to us.

His love towards us is everlasting, which we'll never comprehend. It will never change. It will be the same from day to day, from year to year.

For Your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away. Hosea 6:4

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him. Nahum 1:7

Wonderful to know that we can depend on Him, as we surrender our all. Each day is a new beginning. Each year is a fresh start. He listens to our cries and He hears our praises. Come let us reason, says the Lord.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever. Psalm 106:1

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him. Revelation 19:7

Let us lift up our hands together in worship. Let us hold hands together and form a mighty force for the Kingdom of God. Together, let us storm the gates of heaven.

Unto God is the Kingdom, and the Power and the Glory for ever. AMEN!

Receive His blessings upon your search for a deeper walk with God, and a more intense longing to do His will, I pray.

The Glory of God Declared

Truly the Heavens declare the glory of God!

Sunset at the North Pole

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.

Psalm 50:6 Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Selah

Psalm 97:6 The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.

Isaiah 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the LORD has spoken:"I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me;

John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Acts 4:24b Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

Acts 7:50 Hath not My hand made all these things?

Colossians 1:16 For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

Hebrews 3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

Even the heathen can know that God is. I don't need to add anything more.
Whoever believes that the creation just "happened", or came about through evolution is blind as a bat. God's word says that such people are fools.
I tell you right now, that I did not come from a monkey, but through the hand of God. If we all did come from monkeys how come there are still monkeys?
We are all unique. There is no human being who is exactly like me. God didn't create duplicates.
Psalm 14:1-3
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Magnify the Lord!

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For He hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

For He that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is His name. And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation.

He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. Luke 1:46-52

They that know the Lord God are able to magnify Him in the same manner as Mary did in the above scriptures. Because within us Christ is born. He has settled in our hearts and lives, if we have surrendered completely to His will. You can experience the same joy and happiness as Mary did, for unto you is born the Savior. What a BLESSING He has bestowed upon His children.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away. He hath holpen His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy; As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. Luke 1:53-55

God knows exactly what you need and He will do accordingly, as you may read in the scripture above. Therefore, leave your cares with Him and put your soul in the PRAISE mode.
Don't look on the waves, but focus on the Savior, Jesus Christ
.

Have a blessed celebration... you and Jesus ...

Fear NOT!

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:8-11

God's word states many times for us NOT to fear. Fear is crippling and destroys faith.

Therefore, FEAR NOT for God brings you Good Tidings of Great Joy, in whatever situation you may be. You may rest your head upon His shoulder and be at peace, for He cares.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32

Be not afraid, only believe. Mark 5:36b

Thank you Lord.

No room for Jesus!

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke 2 :1-7

We are now more than 2000 years further, and there is still no room for Jesus.
Really, there even seems no "stable" left. Many countries outlaw Christianity, through their behavior and new "laws". Society has become rebellious against God, the Father of Abraham.

The "C" word is considered to be a dirty word, and may not be used in schools in several States of the USA, as well as in Belgium and perhaps other countries.

Bibles are taken out of public places because society is doing away with God more and more. God's word reminds them too much of their sin and they want to make their own rules and regulations, which allow all kind of abominable sins.

They think they don't need Jesus to wash away their sin, because their desire is to continue in it.

Nevertheless, many individuals open their heart for the Savior and call upon His name.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12,13

Ask from God in Faith

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mark 11:24

Bringing your thoughts and needs in prayer to the Lord should not be a formal issue, but rather communicating a personal request to the Almighty Father.

There is a program in the schools which is called "Show and Tell". Kids bring whatever they wish and talk freely about it in front of the class. They tell it like it is. This is exactly what you need to do in talking to the Father.

Come as a child. Come as you are and speak out that which is on your heart. Don't be vaque about your petition. Never be afraid to be too definite in your prayers.

Your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:8

God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
1 John 3:20

Nothing is hidden from God. Nevertheless, He desires to hear from you. Be very specific in what your needs are and what you desire God to do in your life. You may even repeat your needs a few times, just to make sure He has heard you (our human thinking).
This does not mean that your prayers should become mechanical, as in saying the "rosary".
Jesus warns for this. Our prayers must come from the heart, even if we repeat them.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do.
Matthew 6:7

Jesus repeated His prayer to the Father, but this was a sincere ernest repeat. It was at the time before His crucifiction, shortly before He carried sacrificially the heavy burden of our sins.

And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
Matthew 26:44

You may approach God's throne through the Savior, Jesus Christ, and ask freely from the Father.

Thank You JESUS for making the connection to the Heavenly Father.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mark 11:24

Doing God's Work

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16,17

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2

You may say you are getting ready by studying and listening to teachers who teach the Word. There is a time to study, but it is WHILE you work.

PRAY + STUDY + DO = The will of God

When Jesus called His disciples, He called them for an immediate commitment to follow (accompany) Him. To leave all and to learn of Him as they went. Not to learn all and then go.
I am not talking to new Christians, (though they are the most likely ones to heed this call).

I am talking to you Christians who fall into the category of Hebrews 5:12,13 : "For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use (practise) have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14

The Spirit of God is saying through Paul, that if you are knowledgeable about how to use the Word accurately, then you are a baby, but if you can discern between what is of God and what is of the devil, then you are mature (of full age), and ready to go to work in the Kingdom.

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. Hebrews 6:1,2

Paul talks about going on to perfection or maturity and completeness. He says that once you get a good understanding of the basic doctrines, it is time to go on to perfection. What is perfection? Read Matthew 19:21.

To be perfect, you have to reach a point where you would walk away from all security and learn to trust God alone. That is perfection as Jesus explained to the rich young man in Matthew.

You have got all the principles down, now step out and learn to apply them in your life and in the lives of others. There is much work to be done.

The Peace of God

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Isaiah 52:7

When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7

How blessed you are when you present God's plan of salvation to others. There is power in bringing God's truth, for the one who brings it and the one who receives it.

What a privilege we have to become His servant. Really, it is not even through our effort, but through His Holy Spirit that we have the strength and wisdom to touch lives of others.

Let therefore the peace of God reign in our lives and saturate us completely. Only then will we truly be His representatives.
Glory to God!

Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
Proverbs 12:20

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
Colosians 3:15-17

Seek His Kingdom!

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
Luke 12:29-33

May we focus more on God and His Kingdom, and let the world go by.
One may have discovered that which was so important at one time has lost its value and attraction.
You may have houses and cars, but what would it matter if you were crippled?
You may have all the riches of this world, but if you have no joy you will still be miserable.
If you have everything you desire and don't have the peace of God in your heart, you are empty and there is nothing which will satisfy your soul.

Cling unto the Lord and allow Him to meet all of your needs.

Have Faith!

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7,8.

Claim the scriptures. The Bible is not written to be read as a fairy tale, but to meditate upon and to experience the goodness of the Lord!

He wants you to ask... and He will give, knock and it SHALL be opened unto you.
Don't start doubting now. Look forward with great expectation, because your redemption draweth nigh. It is the devil who is trying to discourage you and your loved ones. Do not let him!

Look beyond the impossible through faith.
Constantly repeat the word of God, the scriptures which strengthen your faith. David said: "With the Lord I jump over mountains." This means, getting over impossible situations.

You don't have to do anything and you do not have to fear anything. When you walk in obedience, God is with you. Meditate upon His word and don't let anybody tell you any different.
Gods' will for you is clear and it is in the scriptures. Our personal experiences may not be the same, but the answers for all are the same; God's Word.

When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, "I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick. Luke 7:9-10

We have become His children

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
Galatians 3:7

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

God will work out His promises to Abraham and fulfill the calling of the Jews. But they have to listen to God's voice and accept His Son. This unwillingness of the Jews has caused much pain and suffering. God's will be done even if He has to wait. This shows only His great Love for His people.

Jew or gentile, we have nothing to boast about, we were all like filthy rags, according to the scriptures. Only through the Blood of Yeshua (Jesus Christ) we have found mercy and grace. Through His sacrifice we are now the children of God and the seed of Abraham, no matter our background or our where-abouts.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. 1 Corinthians 7:19

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:28,29

Our Wonderful God and Father

We serve a wonderful God, whose strength is immeasurable. No matter what we face He is able and willing to support us and get us through.

Just observe the firmament; watch the clouds move or the rain come down. This is our Father who put this all in place. We never need to feel hopeless or helpless when He walks beside us.

His rod and His staff comfort me. I rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Glory to our God and Father!

Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast declared Thy strength among the people.
Thou hast with Thine arm redeemed Thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
The waters saw Thee, O God, the waters saw Thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: Thine arrows also went abroad.
The voice of Thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
Thy way is in the sea, and Thy path in the great waters, and Thy footsteps are not known.
Psalm 77:13-19

The Grocery List

Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a grocery store. She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries. She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had seven children and they needed food.

John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at once. Visualizing the family needs, she said: "Please, sir, I'll bring you the money just as soon as I can."
John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a charge account at his store.

Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice,"Do you have a grocery list?" Louise replied, "Yes sir.""Okay" he said, "put your grocery list on the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in groceries."

Louise hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed.
The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went down and stayed down. The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and said begrudgingly, "I can't believe it."

The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more. The grocer stood there in utter disgust.

Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement. It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said: "Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands."

The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in stunned silence. Louise thanked him and left the store. The other customer handed a fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and said; "It was worth every penny of it. Only God knows how much a prayer weighs."

Ponder on this!

If you want to be distressed -- look within.
If you want to be defeated -- look back.
If you want to be distracted -- look around.
If you want to be dismayed -- look ahead.
If you want to be delivered -- look up!

We can hold on to sorrow, hold on to pain.
We can hold on to anger, when there is nothing to gain.
We can hold on to a thread, at the end of a rope.
But if we hold on to Jesus, we are holding on to hope.

THINK ABOUT THE FOLLOWING

A real Christian is an odd number anyway:
he feels supreme love for One who he has never seen;
talks familiarly every day to Someone he cannot see;
expects to go to heaven on the virtue of Another;
empties himself in order to be full;
admits he is wrong so he can be declared right;
goes down in order to get up;
is strongest when he is weakest;
richest when he is poorest and happiest when he feels the worst.
he dies so he can live; forsakes in order to have;
gives away so he can keep; sees the invisible, hears the inaudible.

Crucify the Flesh

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Romans 8: 12-13

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
2Peter 3:17

These are just a few scriptures which show clearly that if we do not heed to the scriptures and do not walk in His ways, we will perish just as the ungodly.

The Lord will never send us away, but it are our sins which separate us from Him.
Nothing and nobody can take us out of His Hand, but we can walk out of His Hand if we want to. And many do, because they do not want to obey, they rather follow their own desires.
They may, so to speak, enjoy their sinful life. But they have to pay for it and will receive eternal death and be lost for eternity if they continue in their sin.

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen
2 Peter 3:17-18

Just consider the shortness of life and the length of eternity!

God's Grace

*
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:8-10

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 3:28

God always seeks man. Christianity is not a religion of discovery, but of revelation. Grace is sovereign because if flows in one direction only--- from His throne to earth--- from His heart to the human soul.
Apart from the presence of lost sinners, grace would have no meaning, because there would be no objects to receive it.

Grace is the bestowal of God's favor to undeserving people.

Even when we were dead in sins, [God] hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved); and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:5-6

The concept of salvation by grace is boldly opposed to any attempt of man to be saved by works.Romans Chapter 4 says the same thing of Abraham--that he was justified, not by works, but by faith.

For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 4:2-5

Grace is the very opposite of good works. Nevertheless, good works we will and must do. Followers of Christ want to walk in obedience unto His word! God's will is revealed in His word.

That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 1 Timothy 6:18

Faith without works is dead. James 2:20b

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:16

God Almighty, Provider of Salvation will bless the reading of His word. AMEN!

Be Encouraged

Please, know that Jesus Christ loves you.

You may feel lonely at times, but you are NEVER alone.
The Lord knows your heart. Throw yourself in His life-line, run the race, surrender all to Him. You have nothing to lose, ALL to gain.
Concentrate on what Jesus did for you, what He means to you, draw your strength from Him.

People around you may fail, but Jesus never fails. Circumstances differ for each individual, but all share the same experience as they cry out to God in their need, and He hears and answers. All have equal cause to praise Him.

O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. Psalm 107:1-3

Walk in His ways and be a light in the darkness.

Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your ownunderstanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him and He SHALL direct your paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:5-7

Allow the scriptures saturate your soul, may His Word bring healing to the land.

He is the GREAT "I AM".

Be strong in the Lord.

The Lord is always near.

But Thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Psalm 3:3

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

We may forget Him sometimes, but our Lord does not forget us.
He watches over us while we are asleep and cares when we are awake.
He is always one step ahead, one page further, a breath closer, a touch away, always in sight, within reach.
He hears our cries, sees our tears, feels our hurts, heals our wounds, lifts us up, answers our prayer and carries us over hills and though valleys.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you.... Isaiah 66:13

LEAN UPON THE LORD, THY GOD!

Stay in Control!

Thoughts to ponder

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew 12:37

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
Proverbs 21:23

Bad thoughts should be cast down, if these are harboured they will eventually bring forth sin.
Ventilating one's anger is sinful when it evolves into destructive and damaging emotions toward others.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:26 ,27

Being Angry starts in the mind, and it should stop right there.
As soon as you allow that anger to come out, via your mouth or your fist (as ventilating) you give place to the devil.
It is victory when an individual becomes aware what is going on in his mind and then handling it in such a way as not to sin.

A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. Proverbs 29:11

Be wise and get the Victory!

The Balm of Gilead

You may know that Jesus Christ has the power to forgive and to heal, but we have to make this reality in our lives. Sometimes we miss out on this, but thank God, we'll always have other opportunities to see the Scripture fulfilled.

Luke 5:21-24
And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, He said unto the sick I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go into thine house.

The Pharisees where constantly trying to find fault with Jesus. Because they did not believe that Jesus was the Son of God they were fast to judge Jesus when He said to the man with the palsy: "Man, thy sins are forgiven thee."

The Pharisees even dared to call Jesus' action blasphemy, for they didn't believe that Jesus was also Divine; the Son of God. They were thinking that is was pretty easy to say that the man's sins were forgiven, because nobody could see or prove that they really were forgiven.
In these the Parisees committed the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Of course, Jesus knew their thoughts and He hooked right into their thinking by asking them the question what was easier, the action to forgive sins or the action to heal this man with the palsy. The Pharisees were dumbfounded when Jesus continued saying to the sick man: "Arise, and take up your bed and go home."

This healing was performed to show the Pharisees that Jesus had the power to forgive as well as to heal. Jesus had the power to restore in the spiritual world as well as in the physical world; healing the soul and the body.

Jesus went continuously around doing good, healing the sick, forgiving the sins of the people and blessing them. Although Isaiah 53 was not fulfilled then, we can see the relation between the text and the Scripture in :

Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him. And by His stripes we ARE healed.

Jesus brought healing for the "whole" person. To the Pharisees and they that don't believe, this is foolishness.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

To us, who believe in Him, who cry out unto the Lord and going through the effort of seeking Him, He will meet all of our needs. We leave all our cares and anxieties at His feet. He will certainly reach out to us and heal us after body, soul and spirit, according to His word.

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

To us, Jesus is our Rescuer, our Redeemer, full of wisdom.
He is faithful to them that call upon Him for help.

Lamentations 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Jesus Christ is the Balm of Gilead.

Praise His wonderful name! Amen !

HIS GOODNESS

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 106:1

Welcome friends,

I have started this "Blogs" site very recently, and it has become a great place for me the write down some of my thoughts and share these with visitors.

We will never understand the goodness of God, neither will we be able to figure out why He directs His goodness towards us.

We don't seem to be any special to others, but to Him we are "very" special. So special, that He did send His Son as a Holy Sacrifice for our sins. Why this Divine love and goodness? You tell me! We will only find out about this when we are with Him in glory.

At present, we would not be able to grasp any explanation, since our spirit is limited by the brains we have. Once we have a glorified body, our brains will be of very little or no use, for we will move and respond through the Spirit.

Enjoy the Word of God and rejoice in the fact that He has left us this to read.

.... the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance....
Romans 2:4b

... for Your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
Hosea 6:4

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him.
Nahum 1:7

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
Psalm 33:5

Searching

As we search through the rubble of our life, we'll may need to clean up our "yard" and clear the way to TRULY serve our Lord, and Savior.

We need to give up the distraction that this old world puts upon us. We're so easily involved in things that does not add up for the Kingdom of God.
So much time is wasted by just "looking around", while we could be active in reaching out to others.

And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. Mark 4:19

Let us pray:

O Lord, help me to concentrate on that which matters. Help me to focus more on You and to put down the things of the "flesh". Open my eyes for the move of the Holy Spirit, so I may see the need of others. Guide me in Your truth and teach me to abide in You, I pray. AMEN!

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of Thy mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of Thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto Thy ways.
I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy word.
Psalm 119:11-16

PRAISE GOD!

PRAISE HIS NAME!

THE LORD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

Immediately after I wrote the above lines, the Lord did lead me to the Scripture below. This is NOT incidental, but His leading.

Thou hast dealt well with Thy servant, O LORD, according unto Thy word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed Thy commandments. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept Thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me Thy statutes. Psalm 119:65-68

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:1-5

Awesome God!

Nevertheless I am continually with Thee: Thou hast holden me by my right hand.
Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but Thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside Thee.

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

For, lo, they that are far from Thee shall perish: Thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from Thee.

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Psalm 73:23-28

What an AWESOME "statement" is the Psalmist making here. Just speak it out loud and make it your own words, and see what it does to your own soul.
It quickens and refreshes the innermost being.

True happines..

TRUE HAPPINESS

There are a few things in life that can make you happy
but not that many are long last
There are other things that will evoke you to be crabby
and I hope that these stay in the past

Some people can make you laugh, others cause you to cry
but never throw up your hands and sigh.
Along life's path some lessons are to be learned
One cannot always depend on others - however turned

But still there can be happiness and peace within
If you put your hope and trust in Him
True happiness is only in one place to be found
knowing Jesus and sharing Him around.

Secret place

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 91:1,2

What an AWESOME Scripture. Great to know we are SAFE in Him. Therefore, let us praise His name and encourage each other to abide in Him and make Him first in our lives, at any rate.

Wonderful day...

Another wonderful day. A day of Thanksgiving unto an AWESOME God. He will guide and lead us when we put our trust in Him. His peace and joy is ours through faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Psalm 62:1,2
