No room for Jesus!

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke 2 :1-7

We are now more than 2000 years further, and there is still no room for Jesus.
Really, there even seems no "stable" left. Many countries outlaw Christianity, through their behavior and new "laws". Society has become rebellious against God, the Father of Abraham.

The "C" word is considered to be a dirty word, and may not be used in schools in several States of the USA, as well as in Belgium and perhaps other countries.

Bibles are taken out of public places because society is doing away with God more and more. God's word reminds them too much of their sin and they want to make their own rules and regulations, which allow all kind of abominable sins.

They think they don't need Jesus to wash away their sin, because their desire is to continue in it.

Nevertheless, many individuals open their heart for the Savior and call upon His name.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12,13

Only when we let God remove the scales from our eyes and hearts can we truly worship Him in spirit and in truth. Only when we totally surrender our lives to Him can we have peace, that blessed peace that Jehovah Shalom brings. Only when we become as children can God truly work His will in our lives. Don't depend on yourself; that is the flesh that needs to be crucified. Depend only on the One True God, who came in the form of a baby, conforming to human flesh, tempted but not giving in to temptation.
