A Good Lesson.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14,15

A story is told of two friends who were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, he wrote in the sand: “Today my best friend slapped me in the face.

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but his friend saved him.

After he recovered from the near drowning, he carved on a stone: Today my best friend saved my life. The friend, who had slapped and saved his best friend, asked him, After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now, you carve on a stone, why?

The other friend replied: When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand, where the winds of forgiveness can erase it away, but when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone, where no wind can ever erase it.

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your blessings in stone!

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Ephesians 6:8

Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 3 John 1:11

God's revealing Word

For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock.
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.  Psalm 27:5,6

Life's struggle is to keep the balance, to hold on, keep stability, not to make the wrong move... or one will drown. BUT with God all things are possible to them that believe!

God's word is POWERFUL, ENCOURAGING and to the point, not only for me but for whoever reads it and makes the words his own through faith in God! Yes, I will sing praises...

When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: BUT HE THAT PUTS HIS TRUST IN Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain;
And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of My people.
For thus saith The High and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:13-15

Please, pay attention to the word of God, as written above.
PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5
Casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

These are not just some words we read BUT the promises of God. If we believe God's word, the promises will become ours. FAITH IN GOD WILL CARRY US THROUGH, a wonderful Truth!

Followers of Christ are in God's hand and do not have to fear the future. According to God's word there is No escape for the wicked, no relief for the "lukewarm" or the "worldly" Christians. NOT they that say "LORD, LORD" but they that DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER...

Just remember the 5 wise and the 5 foolish virgins, they all knew the "Bridegroom", but the 5 foolish virgins had to be left behind in the dark of night. This is very serious business, and many "believers" have fallen asleep, dozing off and side-tracked by worldly affairs, movies, TV etc. etc. some living in sin... They are the ones who will go through the great tribulation. Jesus gave lots of warnings about this.

God knows ALL things and we have to trust Him for His perfect judgement. We cannot do anything better than rest in God.

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my down sitting and mine uprising, Thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, Thou knowest it altogether.  Psalm 139:1-4

What a wonderful Lord we serve. Thank You Father.
Many Blessings of God to you!

Another year, 2012

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 Corinthians 5:17,18.

May we be found worthy in the eyes of our Lord, having been faithful in what He called us to do. And having done this for His glory, otherwise it will be rejected.

We do, work, speak and help through His strength because we have nothing of ourselves. We are feeble and unstable when we stand on our own, but if we allow God to use us we'll become just as brave as David and we'll get that GIANT down to the ground... Amen!

We never have to be afraid that we cannot do the work of God which He has called us to do, because HE will do it through us, as long as we make ourselves available; a vessel in His hands.

We serve a loving God and Father. He is not standing with a whip in His hand to make us into what He wants us to be. Oh NO, He is a good Father. He makes you to lie down in green pastures: He leads you beside the still waters.

My friend, take this opportunity, take this challenge to be a useful tool in His hands. He will certainly keep you and bless you. His goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever, is what King David tells us in Psalm 23.

Stand upon God's word and walk in obedience.
Abiding in God takes more than being saved, it involves commitment to God's word and acting upon it.
"Be sober-minded, be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen." Luke 21:36

"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Matthew 24:42

To all who read this; "Be blessed in the name of the Lord, especially for this New Year, 2012." AMEN!

In His service,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman
