Serious Stuff!!

The LORD is with you, while ye be with Him; and if ye seek Him, He will be found of you; but if ye forsake Him, He will forsake you. 2 Chron 15:2b

A pastor was just beginning to speak the message when suddenly, a machine-gun toting masked-man burst through the doors at the rear of the church.

All eyes in the building were on him as he loaded a round in his weapon and walked quickly to the pulpit. Then, he turned toward the congregation and said, "If you want to live, all you have to do is walk out those doors and renounce the name of Jesus! Anyone who stays, dies."

At that, the building rapidly cleared, leaving only a few behind. When the last person walked out of the building, the gunman turned to the pastor and said, "Here are the true believers. You can begin your message now."

Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.... Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: and shall not My soul be avenged on such a nation as this? Jeremiah 5:4 and 9

A message that gets right to the heart and spirit of do we have true faith or not?

Sadly many do not fear the Lord and take their faith to lightly. Jesus came in the "End Days" two thousand years ago.

Many generations have come and gone since Christ's ascension. The 7th church of Revelation has closed her doors to the message of Christ's Gospel. Her riches sustain her and they care not for the lot of the poor.

Christ does not reside within this church. Her doors are locked and the Master waits outside and knocks.

Many are still striving to take the Word unto the world, but many, many more are trying to abolish it from the face of the earth.

In your story the gunman stops and tells the preacher to continue the sermon, in the world this could not be farther from the Truth. Those who once cried out for religious freedom, not cry out for religious diversity.

Christianity is no longer considered the founding Faith, but just another of man's superstitions.

Many have long stood and faced death for the Christian Faith, but lose their strength when they see their families hungry, afraid and set apart because of their beliefs.

Little True Faith is left. Soon the lightening will come and the angelic horns will blow and the Son of Man will appear unto a frightened world.

May His Divine Mercy abide with us on that Glorious Day!

Peace,

A Brother

Thank you Brother for your comments. I agree with you in this.

Although the story was focused on the fact that just a hand full of people will still profess Christ, even at the risk of losing their lives.

This story shows us also that there are most likely a lot of churches with "fake" Christian filling the pews.

Many have become apathetic and don't recognize the spiritual danger they are in, due to worldliness.

I sincerely pray that the Church will wake up, before it is too late, and they have to go through the tribulation where Jesus speaks about in Matthew 24:21.

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."

Peace be unto you, through Christ.
