K.P. Yohannan, the founder of Gospel for Asia says while persecution is increasing worldwide for Christians, he believes it will soon impact believers in America -- and says they need to get ready for it..... Over the years, we have seen persecution developing here in North America, since we emigrated from Europe in 1966.
After WW2 there were Revivals in Europe when TL Osborn, Billy Graham and other great servants of God held campaigns and open air meetings, where hundred of thousands gathered every night. Awesome miracles happened before our own eyes, lame walked, blind eyes were opened, and the sick were healed.
Indirectly through these Revivals my mentally ill sister was instantly healed.
In that period Revivals had come to Indonesia where people literally walked over the water to go to the islands to bring THE GOOD NEWS of the Gospel, and when even the dead were raised.
Powerful revivals have come to North America in the past, through the annointing of George Whitefield and Charles Finney, when whole cities were shaking by the Holy Spirit, and sinners tumbled over each other rushing to the "Altar".
Christians seem to have forgotten this and have become lukewarm and weakened in faith and endurance.
Especially in North America, many Christians like to see REVIVAL, because persecution "hurts". They are used to the soft cushioned pews, so why to sit on a wooden board! Many American people are spoiled and Christians have become couch potatoes. Many times over God has poured out His mighty blessings already, and now we believe that persecution is next.
Please, WAKE UP and find "Shelter" in Christ, as Noah did in the ark. The "flood" will surely come before the return of the Lord of lords. Leave the world behind and follow Jesus.
BE PREPARED, GET READY... CLEANSED... COMMITTED and FILLED, I pray.
REVIVAL HAS TO START WITHIN THE HEART, SOUL AND SPIRIT!
