Lines to consider

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Isn't it wonderful that God gives us the opportunity to bring all our burdens and cares to Him, through Christ. But also us is taught, in the same scripture, to follow Him in self denial, laying down our lives and taking on His character so we may be gentle (towards others) and humble in our hearts; not lifting up ourselves but Christ.
Doing likewise the result will be that His yoke will become easy to carry and His burden light to bear. Amen!

How did Jesus handle the battle against satan when He was tempted for 40 days? Jesus fought the devil by using the word of God, His Father. If we are tempted or in difficult times seek appropriate scriptures to "shut" the mouth of the devil.

When difficult times cross our path fear is the first thing which strikes. While the scriptures read many times over "FEAR NOT for I am with thee, says the Lord". Are we trusting God or what!
This is the time you must grab your Bible, allowing God's promises to sink in and being absorbed. Repeat the related scriptures to your situation and make them your own. Next begin to act accordingly and God will back you up and manifests Himself in your life. You have to start  learning to trust God completely so it will be easier in other situations to hold your head up high.

It is glorious to speak of the power of God and His word. Why are we sometimes afraid to act upon His word? And if one does not receive what the Word states, they may say it was not God's will. This is a LIE, NO MATTER who is saying this. Whatever God's promises are THEY ARE TRUTH. If it does not come about in our lives, it is ourselves who are to be blamed, be it through unbelief, due to disobedience, unholy living, not abiding in His word etc. God says: "I AM WHO I AM", just like 2+2=4... it cannot be changed nor will it fail. AMEN!

At least we have a solid foundation knowing His promises are true; Yeah and Amen! This presents an opportunity to dig into our own heart and life, set our priorities and become persistent in our faith in His word. If not, one will sink as Peter did and will lose his buoyancy. This way one never will accomplish anything for the KINGDOM OF GOD, neither in his personal life.

Let us exercise our faith and it will become stronger, similar like using our muscles regularly and we will win the battle.

"Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, "We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:" Isaiah 28:14,15.

We have to fight the powers of darkness and bind evil spirits in the strenght of the Holy Spirit. PRAISE HIS NAME FOREVER.
This is the end time and mankind is scornful of anyone who proclaims God's truth. Blasphemy is to be found in all corners of the world and the spiritual flood of darkness will soon cover this whole planet before the time of Jesus return to pick up His Bride. Get filled with the Holy Spirit and receive the Gifts of
the Spirit or you will not be able to stand was is about to come down.

How wonderful it is as Brothers/Sisters "live" together in harmony, to grow up together in the Lord. AWESOME TO HAVE GOD IN OUR LIVES.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; Psalm 133:1,2

Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. Psalm 69:1-3

We don't need to live in misery, overrun by the things of this world, being distraught or overwhelmed by the works of satan.

God is in control in as far as we allow Him to be!

May you recognize the voice of the Lord.
Be blessed in the Lord. AMEN!

Even though we are a pastoral family we really needed to read your post. We have faced some very hard times for the past year. It seems to never end though we know such things will pass with God's help. Sometimes it takes hearing that from another to strengthen and remind us of the power of Christ in our relation with Him.
Thank You Dr. Veerman
