WHAT A SAVIOUR!

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:3-5

“Man of Sorrows!” what a name
For the Son of God, who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Guilty, vile, and helpless we;
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
“Full atonement!” can it be?
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Lifted up was He to die;
“It is finished!” was His cry;
Now in Heav’n exalted high.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

When He comes, our glorious King,
All His ransomed home to bring,
Then anew His song we’ll sing:
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Dear Sister Trudy;

We have spent some time with our daughter, and Son in law, and our grand daughter in Michigan, so I am behind time, but I wanted to write to rejoice along with you, Halleluhjah!
Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord, we have Eternal life within us! He paid our debt, our ransom, and what an awful debt it was to pay, but we are now dead to sin, and alive through Christ who now reigns and lives in us.
Praise God for the testimony of your faith through the Internet and through your life.
Your friend in Ohio, James Lewis
