Beloved Friend in Christ,

Be encouraged when times get tough, because God will NOT forsake you, I promise! He will calm your "sea".

As we all know, this life is far from perfect, even for a Christian.

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 34:18,19

God's blessings, His strength and His faithfulness has overwhelmed me at times, but the devil has always been out to destroy me and the ministry God directed me in. (We know about this)

A few weeks ago I thought what was happening to me was beyond repair. It was devastating to say the least and I was about to become so depressed and my hope for recovery of the incident was near impossible. Due to this I became physically and emotionally down and out for a few days.

I endured and my soul cried out to God. He never left me nor forsook me, but lifted me up out of the pit again. I fought the battle and within a few days, amazingly all was LIFTED by God's interference, although I had some sort of setback for days after.

The IMPOSSIBLE is truly POSSIBLE WITH GOD, as I experience from time to time. THE SUCH ARE REMINDERS, we sometimes go through (perhaps by our own doings), that God still is who He says He is...

Psalm 3:3,4 But Thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah.

Psalm 34:15
The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.

Psalm 115:11
Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: He is their help and their shield.

His word is always so encouraging and uplifting.

Be blessed in the name of Christ.

In His service.

"GOD is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1

Dear Dr. Trudy,
Thank you for this very interesting blog.

It is good to know that our GOD is a very present help in trouble.

HE has been there for me and with me in days past. I often felt HE did not hear my crying out to HIM ..and have since found out that HE will never leave us, nor forsake us.. especially in times of trouble and HE does hear and HE does answer prayer.

The scriptures are excellent and touched my heart.

God bless you and God bless this special blog. It speaks volumes.

Thanks, Sister Pat.

Glad to know that many of us have experienced His faithfulness, even when we did not deserve it. His mercies are forever and His love to His children are everlasting.

There is nothing we can add in order to be blessed of Him than to praise Him and glorify His name. For He alone is worthy. AMEN AND AMEN!

The peace of God be with you and in you.

In Christ,
Dr. Trudy Veerman

I'm so grateful for the mirror of God's word and your reminders and examples of this.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

It's only 8:18 PM, but I'm quite tired. Just opened your website for the first time--because you left a comment on my blog. Yours was the first comment from a "stranger"--but you are certainly a Sister in the Lord! When I'm not so tired, and when I have more time, I'll return to your website (which is exceptionally well done). Love in Christ, Jeanette (
