Are places where souls get saved truly God pleasing?

For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye Me, and ye shall live: Amos 5:4

One may think that all places; such as churches, Christian concerts, conferences, gatherings or groups, where people get saved are truly God serving.
This may or may not be true.

Because souls are coming to the recognition of Christ is NO proof whatsoever that the surrouding people are lead by the Holy Spirit or that they truly serve God.

Since it is the Holy Spirit who brings people under conviction, it is He who draws the soul to Christ. He alone searches the heart and knows the intentions.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6

People are saved anywhere!
No matter where they gather, be it at concerts, church, fellowship or just visiting friends, the Holy Spirit will take any opportunity to tuck on the hearts of lost souls. He may just use one line of a song; one prayer uttered in church; one kind word spoken by a neighbor; one smile of the song leader or an e-mail from a concerned person, to impress the heart.

What I am trying to say is that because a soul gets saved does not prove anything about the people involved. God looks at the heart which is in need of salvation. He may just use part of the surroundings to speak to a lost soul.

This may not mean at all that God approves of what is going on during the concert, the fellowship, the church service, etc. The Holy Spirit is searching the heart, seeking whom He can save. It is the Holy Spirit doing the work, NOT they that are involved, nor circumstances. Although God will use these.

There have been some who were hungry for God's truth, who ended up in a false church. Nevertheless, God saved their souls, but drew them out later. Because people got saved in that church, does not prove that church to be right. THIS SHOWS GOD'S MERCY AND LOVING KINDNESS.

For example, if loud music, style of music and/or performing musicians deem to be unholy and drawing the attention to themselves or to their music style etc. then they are dishonoring God.
One who is filled with the Holy Spirit can easily distinguish this, since we have the Holy Ghost, who leads us in all truth.

Amos 5: 16-27. Focus verse 23: Take away from the noise of your songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

At Christian concerts there are different groups/individuals performing. Some of them desire to serve God, others want to serve themselves. God only knows and on the fruit we'll know the tree.

When people attend such a concert and some are getting saved, is because of the move of the Holy Spirit, and the Love of God, not because the surrounding people are true followers of Christ.

Again, this does not prove that all the music is pleasing unto the Lord. Each of these musicians is responsible to God, for their own performance.
Nevertheless, souls will be saved.

So it is with any other place, gathering or situation.

It is God who takes pity on the lost!

May God give understanding and insight.
