Victory over Trauma

He gives power to the weak. And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young man shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Allow me to add to this Scripture in Isaiah, my personal experience with the Father. if we, being His followers, are or feel weak in ourselves, we present in reality the "handle" to God. In other words we would say: "Lord, please take over".

To receive from the Father, the above is the exact position you should be in.

Let me assure you, that if you come to this point in your life and bring it to the Father He will take over immediately and you will see the power of God manifested in an AWESOME WAY.

He is not a man that He should lie, but rather He will keep His promises to His children.

You will read how I stood face to face with a convicted murderer and was it not for My Father, I would have been murdered and my unborn baby would also be dead.

Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord. Jeremiah 1:8

I am the PROOF that the Lord is real and right at our fingertips when we need Him. I had been prepared over the years in the spirit, the time had arrived for practice.

We were in the Ministry, I knew my place in His Kingdom and was familiar with the battle in the Spirit against the enemy, but I had never experienced what happened next.

It was around 7:00 am. I was at home by myself, the children were still in bed. I was 8 months pregnant of our 4th child. I had come downstairs after my husband had left for work.

I had just started the washing machine and a pail of hot water was standing on the kitchen floor, when a man climbed over an 8 feet wooden fencing, which enclosed our backyard. He came to my kitchen door and pulled it open with force, I stared into the eyes of one who was bewildered.

We had met before. He was an ex-convict, and had finished his 8 year jail term for manslaughter, which could as well have been murder. He was also a fierce fighter.

He knew me well and hated me. Our eyes made contact and stayed put while we checked each other's strength. I measured his ability and concluded that I could not outdo him. Any feeble attempt on my part would be a disaster and only aggravate him more. He knew my strength, which was not physical, but spiritual.

He came closer. His bloodshot eyes, due to the alcohol and fighting, appeared protruding. He kicked the pail with boiling water over, which was standing between us. Now he had come so close, I could nearly feel his breath. I did not move. I knew he came to hurt me, he had killed before and could do it again. One kick in my belly from him would have brought me right into labor.

I stood my ground, not saying a word, my mind on blank, my soul on God. I showed no fear. When he started to lift up his hand towards me, I broke the silence and said: "Herman, do not touch me." I repeated myself in an unnatural calmness. I did not panic. I had no time to think, I had no physical compatibility, but I had the Lord. I could ONLY count on Him, I had no choice.

The Lord allowed me this experience as to test my faith, and He knew I could do it. Praise His Powerful Name! I continued: "Herman, if you touch me, God will touch you," pointing my finger towards heaven. Both of us were still standing in the same position.

I knew one thing, Herman didn't even have to hurt me, just his touch would have done him in. It scared me more to know that he could drop dead right in front of me, than being hurt myself by him.

We stood there for a few more minutes, which felt like an eternity to me. Still making eye contact. The Holy Spirit was tangible and Herman must have seen something which I didn't see. His arm went slowly down. Herman dropped his sword, so to speak. He turned around and left through the same door he had come in.

I was not even shaky, I took a deep breath of relief and praised the Lord. I wiped up the floor, got the kids out of bed and continued with my daily chores as if nothing had happened. I call this the supernatural Power of God. Thank You Jesus!

I will render praises to You, for You have delivered my soul from death. Psalm 56:12,13

He who walks in integrity will be delivered. Proverbs 28:18

It doesn't make any difference who we are; Daniel in the lions' den; the three men in the fiery furnace; Joseph in the pit; an Israelite followed by Pharaoh's Army or YOU with a revolver being pushed into your back. It may make a difference to us, but not to God.

He can close the mouths of the lions; direct someone to pull Joseph out of the pit; divide the waters of the Red Sea or even take the bullets out of the pistol. Why not?

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me? Jeremiah 32:27

Now, after years I look at this event objectively and only see the battle in the heavenly region. I don't see people, I see spirits and His Holy Spirit using the believers in Jesus Christ as battle field.

Let us clear our fields from obstacles, let us put down strongholds in our lives, let us allow this spiritual warfare to end into Victory through our faith in Jesus Christ and our dependency on Him. Let it be to glorify His Name!

For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.
As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
Psalm 18:29-31

With our God we can jump over mountains. AMEN!

We can learn from those who went before us, such as the heroes described in God's Word.

Let the name of the Lord be praised. AMEN!

Knowing the God we serve.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep. John 10:10, 11

To be “born again” and have received the infilling of the Holy Spirit, as Paul explains in 1 Corinthians Chapters 12,13 and 14, is what we need in order to be able to apply God's word properly, and to rightfully divide His word.

No need to fear any judgement to come from God's end to those who sincerely follow Him. We have a LOVE relationship with the Almighty, therefore He has only the best in mind for His children. Fearing God does not mean that we need to be afraid... but to respect and esteem Him highly.

Jesus would and will never offend His followers, but will put those in their place who oppose Him and twist God's word, as the Pharisees did, those merchants in the Temple, and so many Church goers who do not have Faith in God but walk their own way, warming the pews.

Jesus never spoke offensive to those who followed Him. Those that WANT to do the will of the Father, NOT “must” do the will of the Father. God's children do not have a dreary life to follow the Lord. It is a life of joy and happiness, because God will carry us through the most difficult times in our life. A born-again follower of Christ may have “dreams” and “aspirations” and many will be fulfilled because the FATHER CARES.

A few GOOD promises of the Father below, showing His care for His children. He is not a “slave driver”. We come by free will and a desire to obey His voice, and He will make His promises come true, according to His word.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 7:7,8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Deuteronomy 28:1-7 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

I am suggesting that you read the rest of the above Chapter and see what God has in store for His children... Just AWESOME.

Rejoice in the Lord, your God! And I say again REJOICE! AMEN!
He is the SAME, yesterday, today and forever! What He has promised then, He has promised NOW. HALLELUJAH!

Some may think or say... "That is quite a task to obey God's word" ... and YES it is... if you're trying to do this on your own, in your own strength and as an "obligation"... but that is the wrong way to tackle this.

In the first place God's child has received His Love through Christ. Next, we must expect from Him all that He has promised and make it our own. Then we have to give our ALL to Him so He can do His work in our lives. This totals up to that it is NOT us who are trying to obey God's will, but it is HE who works it out in our life.

We are NOT His "slaves" but His children. Thank God!

Beloved, it is far more simple than you expect and act. Throw yourself in His Life-Line and allow Him to rescue you... so you can be free and walk in happiness. REMEMBER... it is only SATAN who is the SLAVE DRIVER. Give your ALL TO God and you will be just FINE!

Be blessed in the Lord God Almighty.
