I know, Christmas celebration has just passed... but NOT really... His Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection is ALL on the same line. They are inseparable. You need to accept ALL or NOTHING. AMEN! All these events were needed for God's plan to present Salvation to mankind.
Celebrating Christ-mas is glorifying God for the Gift of His Son, just as the shepherds did and the three wise men. Luke 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
It is not about the worship of the babe in the manger, it is about the Glory of God. As it is written … with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom He is pleased.”
Celebrating His birth is not required. But there is nothing wrong with celebrating it either, as long as we don't stay gazing at His empty crib. When we remember His birth we cannot help but think what He came for. We see the shadow of the cross right over His crib.
Beyond this all, we know He is sitting at the right hand of the Father, in glory. We should make certain that we have the whole picture in focus; His birth, His death and His resurrection. We are now awaiting His return as the Bridegroom, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Isn't this to get all excited about? Isn't this what His followers are expecting and waiting for?
It will be the "Reunion" of ALL TIMES. HALLELUJAH!
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13
"The Spirit and the
Bride say, Come." "Surely I come quickly,"
"Amen. Even so, come, Lord
Jesus."
Be blessed in the Lord. Go forth for His glory right throughout 2013 and beyond if He tarries.
Be blessed in Christ.
