God's Grace

There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town. One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit. Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak. . .

"I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage. On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright.
I stopped the lad and asked, "What do you have there, son?"
"Just some old birds," came the reply.

"What are you going to do with them?" I asked.
"Take 'em home and have fun with 'em," he answered. "I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time."
"But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do then?"
"Oh, I got some cats," said the little boy. "They like birds. I'll take 'em to them."

The pastor was silent for a moment. "How much do you want for those birds, son?"
"Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!"
"How much?" the pastor asked again.
The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, "$10?"

The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone. The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot. Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.

Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story:

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden , and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught a world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"
"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked. Satan replied, "Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse.

I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!" "And what will you do when you are done with them?" Jesus asked.. "Oh, I'll kill 'em," Satan glared proudly. "How much do you want for them?" Jesus asked. "Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!"
"How much? He asked again.

Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, "All your blood, tears and your life."
Jesus said, "DONE!" Then He paid the Price.

The pastor picked up the cage and walked from the pulpit.
He had done his preaching.

The Joy of the Lord!

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. Psalm 98:4,5

Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Romans 12:12

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace
in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13

A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22

The LORD [is] my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. Psalm 28:7

Words that help!

Arise my friend. Be not bogged down by life's trials.
Lift up your head for Christ is leading you by His hand. Put your trust in Him alone and do not fear for He is with you all the days of your life.
Jesus bought you with the price of His own life. He will certainly hold you up far above the turmoil of this world. The waves may become high, but Jesus will be in full control, if you allow Him to be.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10

King David commanded his soul to praise God... just telling himself what to do. IT WORKS!! GLORY! AMEN!!

Below is something we can speak out to draw the Lord's attention... DO IT!
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His Holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 103:1-6

Make yourselves available to praise Him, whether you feel like it or not. Command your heart to praise Him with your voice, telling yourself to do it anyway. It will become a sacrifice of praise unto the Lord; a cry-out to Him.

Oh... what a glory. The Father will be right there. I know it, because I have experienced this many times, and again King David writes more about this as well.

Rejoice in the Lord and again I say REJOICE.

He has done great things... Praise His Holy Name!

Seek the Lord!

Beloved Children of the Lord,

No matter who you are, where you live, what you do for living or who you know... ALL what really matters in this life and during our journey on this planet  is that we know God, the Father and have made ALL the effort to know Him better.
Now is the time to search for His will and to do accordingly.
Nothing else is so important while time is our barometer.

There is so much more to walking with God and having Jesus at your side. You will be able to climb "mountains" that you've always thought were far too high for you. But God will carry you to the other side, where is green pasture and clear water.

I am not telling you fables but I speak TRUTH according to God's word. DO NOT be influenced by what you see, hear or read. I am here to encourage you although my path may differ from yours. We all have to fight... the GOOD fight of course.

I dare to tell you that our Father will not leave you as an orphan. He has bought you with the Blood of His only Son. You have cost too much to let go!  Do you get it? You are His creation and His child.

DO NOT FEAR...WALK ON until you reach the finishing line of your race... to enter into the House of the Lord! Glory to God!

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. Psalm 28:7

Blessings to you from the Father.

If My People...

Plague of locusts hits Israel--worst since 1959...

Yes I have read about the locusts plague threatening Israel. It is terrible, but they have "sold" God's protection and are doing their own thing as a people. It are mainly their leaders who are leading their people astray.

When the leaders of a country guide their people away from God and from His precepts, things will go wrong and the Father pulls His protective hands away from that country. The same as we see with the USA and many other countries who follow.

Sad to see that the innocent will suffer, but the followers of Christ in such countries will be hidden in the palm of His hands. The Israelites are indeed God's chosen people, but this has to come from both sides... the Giver and the receiver.

Many do not understand this, but God will not hide His eyes from the sin of the chosen people... just think about the slavery of the Israelites in Egypt.
If they are chosen than they should live accordingly... period.

We should not hold our hands above their heads if they do not walk in accordance with God's word. This also counts for the ones who have been grafted into the True Vine.

Below is a Scripture we all know so well, but this morning the Lord showed me where His people are standing and what should be done. Let me say this: "It is good to pray for the Jewish people, but we must not make the error of thinking that they are above God’s Children who have been "redeemed and adopted" through Christ.

We are His chosen people as well. God does not have favourite Children, and there is no difference between Jew, Greek, Dutch... slave or free person. God requires obedience from ALL of His children... and they who are rebellious MUST repent. NEVERTHELESS, God has a plan/purpose with the Israelites, but NOT until they begin to walk in His ways.

Trouble is all they will be getting, due to their disobedience. God is not taken away the 'Plaques' unless they call upon the God of Abraham and accept Jesus the Saviour.

2 Chronicles 7:14-22
14 If my people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now Mine eyes shall be open, and Mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that My name maybe there for ever: and Mine eyes and Mine heart shall be there perpetually.
17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before Me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe My statutes and My judgments;

18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
19 But if ye turn away, and forsake My statutes and My commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;
20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of My land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for My name, will I cast out of My sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.

21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to everyone that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath He brought all this evil upon them.

God has spoken. Do I need to add any more?

May the mercy of God and His grace touch the hearts of His people with whom He started out at the beginning, and make them return unto Himself through Jesus, the Christ, I pray. AMEN!

Servant of the most High, the Almighty Father.

BE ENCOURAGED!

"For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11

Fear thou NOT; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we ARE healed. Isaiah 53:5

Behold, I (Jesus) give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; BUT of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7

And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed [them] all. Luke 6:19

JESUS IS THE SAME, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER... AMEN!!

Satan has NO power and authority over you. He is defeated.
God has given the authority back to us. Walk in His promises, stand firm, confess/profess His promises and do not waver.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD! SALVATION AND HEALING IS FOR HIS BORN-AGAIN CHILDREN!

The miracles Jesus performed are also for NOW. We do NOT have to die through sickness and pain, the Father can take is without these troubles.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them.
The LORD hath prepared His throne in the heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all. Psalm 103:17-19

Outer Beauty

Looking around we may notice some "cool" guys... muscles all over... and the Word of God came to me in which the Psalm writer ask God: "What is man that You are mindful of him, the son of man that You care for him?" Psalm 8:4.

What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that Thou visitest him? Hebrew 2:6b

LORD, what is man, that Thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that Thou makest account of him! Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away. Psalm 144:3,4

They are alive today and tomorrow they're gone. What you see is the outer side of people (cool guys, muscle men and women). That which matters to God is the heart and the condition of their soul, if they live for God and have accepted Jesus as Savior.

All the other things will pass away, but the soul lives forever... in heaven... or in hell. Just think about it.
Life is not a playground, but a "station" where human beings can prepare themselves to meet God and to know Him and His Son, before one is left behind in the outer darkness, where there is unspeakable pain and torture.

When one is still young the eye speaks louder than the heart, therefore I wrote the above to you to look at the other side of the "coin" and to make serious effort to dedicate your life to Jesus Christ, who suffered for your sins and died for you. Do not allow to waste His blood which flowed to bring Salvation, but rather dedicate your life to the Father through Christ (while you still can).

May God, the Father keep you and may you hold His hand tight wherever you are, I pray.

Living for God,
Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman

Is there HOPE?

LOOK AROUND! READ THE NEWS! CHECK THE WORLD EVENTS!

HOPE... where has it gone?

HOPE... can nowhere be found in this world.
HOPE... has been stolen from mankind.
HOPE... is ripped away from the children.
HOPE... is crushed in its core.
HOPE... itself has become hopeless.
HOPE... the thief has come to snatch it away.

COME HITHER and OBSERVE where HOPE is to be found.

For thou art My Hope, O Lord GOD: Thou art my trust from my youth. Psalm 71:5

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my HELP. Psalm 121:1

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I HOPE. Psalm 130:5

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed (without hope); for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

And HOPE maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

Now faith is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Hold on, God is with those who seek Him in sincerity.

In His service,

Minister Dr. Trudy Veerman.
