WHAT A SAVIOUR!

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

Isaiah 53:3-5

“Man of Sorrows!” what a name
For the Son of God, who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Guilty, vile, and helpless we;
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
“Full atonement!” can it be?
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Lifted up was He to die;
“It is finished!” was His cry;
Now in Heav’n exalted high.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

When He comes, our glorious King,
All His ransomed home to bring,
Then anew His song we’ll sing:
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

His Sacrifice paid our debt!

And when they had crucified Him, they parted His garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. And it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the superscription of His accusation was written over, "THE KING OF THE JEWS". And with Him they crucify two thieves; the one on His right hand, and the other on His left. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And He was numbered with the transgressors. Mark 15:24-28

YOUR LOVE
© Dr.Trudy Veerman

I see agony in Your Holy face
and I cannot understand at all
Why You chose to save the human race
who so miserably did fall

It is Your unspeakable LOVE

I see Your Blood on hands and feet
dripping down that rugged cross
Your head, where blood and thorns do meet
Is bruised to save my soul from loss

It is Your immeasurable LOVE

I hear Your voice, a desperate cry
in anguish calling for relief
It echoes in the heavens high
It makes man shiver in disbelief

It is Your unselfish LOVE

At that God-forsaken place You died
You shed Your Precious Blood for me
to save me from my sin and pride
You cleansed me .... You set me free

It is Your Redeeming LOVE

No human will ever understand
While Your life-blood was flowing away
You still reached out Your Holy hand
To rescue those who're going astray

It is Your Godly LOVE

He is not here, but is risen: remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee, saying, "The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."  And they remembered His words, And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. Luke 24:6-9

Rejoice, for Christ is risen and we'll soon see Him face to face. Jesus, the Christ is returning for His Bride. HALLELUJAH!

Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that He shall gird Himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. Luke 12:37

There are some amongst us who like the benefits and blessings of the Cross of Christ and His suffering, but don't want to crucify their own "old flesh"; the sinful nature one still carries with him.

The such like to get the blessings and stay in their comfort zone, continuing in their old lifestyle, sin, habits etc. This will never work, since the flesh and the Spirit are enemies of each other.

The idea of transformed lives, through holiness and following Christ in self denial, goes against the flesh and oneselves. Creating a new type of Christianity; combining flesh and Spirit presents a pitfall. It can be compared with a broken or damaged vessel.

What we will see next is the blind leading the lame in their deception, both tumbling down in the pit of spiritual disaster.

Be watchful that you don't miss the Crown of Life.

APRIL FOOLS DAY

In the news the last couple of years there have been news reports about how many of the atheist groups want one day a year set apart for a special holiday just for them because there are so many religious holidays.

They may not realize it, but they already have one. In the United States, April 1st, is also known as April Fools Day. This is a day when children and many adults play tricks and jokes on one another. This day should also be known as National Atheist Day. Why, do you ask?

The Bible has the answer:
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalm 14:1

The Bible could say it no clearer, the fool says there is no God. These people need our prayers and need to come to realize yes there is God and without Him there is nothing. One day they will come to know that God does exist and He is real. Either in judgement when they receive their reward, or when they are condemned to everlasting torment. Make a special effort today to reach out to someone who is unsaved and does not know God or Jesus as their Saviour.

The above as sent to me by Dr. Bradley Carey.

This Atheist Day being on April 1st is nearly a "joke" and it reminds me how Elijah mocked the Baal's priests.

1 King 18:27,28 And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.  And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh (mocks): the Lord shall have them in derision. Psalm 2:4

May many find the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour before times closes in.
