To Be His Servant

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Isaiah 52:7

Much words can be said
but less should be spoken
while it can make one happy
others may be heartbroken

Leaning on the carnal mind
surely leads one astray
Not looking up on high
causes man to lose his way

Vanishing of Godly love
presents turmoil there to be
Searching for other's faults
shows lack of bended knee

Paying more attention
harken to the voice of God
is of most importance
in case you forgot

Being led of the Spirit
is what one needs to seek
Doing some more praying
rather than to speak

To be His chosen vessel
one should be pretty swift
in sharing with others
The Lord's AWESOME Gift

Showing forth God's servant
brings honor to our Father
feeding the flock His Truth
will not divide... but gather

Take it... or Leave it!

Dear Friend,

For one thing, I am very thankful and count myself privileged having received the Gift of the Holy Ghost; the "Speaking in Tongues", and other Gifts as the Lord deems fit.

I assure you that all who have received the Speaking in unknown Tongues, have been blessed by it and used this Gift for His glory ONLY, be it for self edification or as a prophetic Word for the Body of Christ.

Some dare to say the Gift of Speaking in unknown Tongues is of the devil. There is NO way that satan can/will bless, warn, send angels to protect through any imitation gift, because satan is a liar, thief and murderer from the beginning. Satan can only bring HATE, DESTRUCTION, DEATH.
I am hidden in Christ no powers of darkness can enter. AMEN!

Be it known, that No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost, and at the same time speak in Tongues through satan. I declare war against the powers of darkness and any lying spirit in the heavenly region, in the name of Jesus, the Christ.

We, who are in Christ know the Shepherd's voice and can discern and distinguish false and deceitful tricks of satan. Satan's behavior is not unknown unto us, since we have defeated him through Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, while putting on the Armor of God.

We are OVERCOMERS AND CONQUERORS in Christ, through the power of the Holy Ghost. No one and NOBODY will be able to take away that which we have received from God Himself. NO MATTER what others think or say. We're holding fast to that which God has bestowed upon us. AMEN AND AMEN!!

Some may not understand the Gifts of the Spirit, or the purpose for the use of these Gifts. To them who have received God's annointing with open arms and gladness, KNOW in whom they have believed, and have put their trust in Him.

I know from God's word that all the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to anyone who desires these. Take it or leave it! The choice is yours!

The many, many testimonies of the power of God, in regards to the Gift of Tongues, CANNOT BE IGNORED or declared as being un-Biblical or even coming from satan, by them who have not received, understood and/or experienced this awesome powerful Gift of God.

The Gift of speaking in Tongues, beside the other Gifts, helps and supports the follower of Christ and the servant of God in the ministry; providing direction, protection, revelation, guidance and encouragement. Millions upon millions can testify to this.

The Apostle Paul encourages to seek the Gifts of the Holy Ghost and said: "I would that ye all spake with Tongues, but rather that ye prophesied." Paul also said that he spoke more in Tongues (for self edification) than all of them. It must have been necessary for him to do so... and so it is for us who have received.

Let the name of the Lord be PRAISED!

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:4,5

And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with ALL your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

In the name of the Lord,

Speaking in Tongues

The Speaking in Tongues, a known and unknown language.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts compared to the Gift of the Speaking in Tongues as in 1 Corinthians Chapters 12-14.

Let us first read what happened in Acts Chapter 2.

Acts 2:4-12

4.And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8. And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9. Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10. Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11. Cretes and Arabians,
we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

As we gather/understand from the above scriptures the utterance as given by the Holy Spirit were KNOWN languages to the unbelieving visitors, gathered in Jeruzalem at that time. This means that the Speaking in Tongues was a sign unto the unbelievers that indeed the Holy Spirit was present.

When we read further on we will notice that Peter immediately lifted his voice and began to preach explaining the word of God.

Speaking in “OTHER” Tongues, as the Spirit gave utterance at the day of Pentecost is a different manifestation of the Holy Spirit (although it has a resemblance), than the instructions regarding the GIFT of Speaking in Tongues, described by Paul (1 Cor Chapters 12 to 14), since it was not for self edification nor with interpretation for edification of the Body of Christ.

In Acts Chapter 2 the speaking in OTHER Tongues was to confirm that indeed the Holy Spirit had descended as cloven tongues like as of fire upon each of them and for the purpose to witness to and evangelize the crowd. As evidence, three thousand souls repented that day, came to Christ and were baptised.

Among the Gifts of the Spirit the apostle refers to in 1 Cor 14:2, Speaking in Tongues:
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

One of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit is the Speaking in UNKNOWN Tongues, and as Paul explains is for self edification, or/and if interpret is for edification of the Body of Christ.

Praying in Tongues, being a Gift of the Spirit, enables the believer to pray for the unknown, because it is the Holy Spirit praying through us according to the will of God and His knowledge of all things. Therefore the prayer as directed by the Holy Spirit is always in time and right on target.

For more detail regarding the need for any follower of Christ to receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, please read the writing at:

Christ's Death and Resurrection

Dear Friend in Christ,

Peace be unto you through Christ, who dwells in you.

I stood still at the foot of the cross and meditated upon something I cannot comprehend; that God came down and looked upon His creation "mankind" and was sorry that He had created them, but still He did not destroy us.

This alone makes me wonder, how come I'm still here? What God is this that He did not destroy us all together, but instead sacrificed His Son, Jesus Christ?

Another thought... were we really worth it that Jesus Christ, who was also God, lowered Himself and allowed Himself to be nailed (by His creation) to the cross to die, in order to rescue mankind?

He, Who was at the Beginning with God and through Whom we have been made. Nothing was made without Him.

Think about it...

How come so many have become lukewarm and think more about what this world has to offer them? This life is but short, and after death there is a lasting life: ETERNITY!

Mankind has taken His Sacrifice of Redemption for granted, they don't believe it, or even blaspheme this. How anyone in his right mind refuses to surrender his life to Christ, or even rejects this Offer is beyond my comprehension. Although we know that the such have no love for the Truth.

We daily celebrate His death and resurrection, not just once per year. For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; (Acts 17:28a)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:25

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:4

* Christ took our sins upon Himself, so we didn't need to carry it.

* He sacrificed His all, so we would not lose our all.

* He gave His blood, while we could keep ours.

* He left heaven, so we could enter heaven.

* We were sin-sick, but through His Death and Resurrection we were set free.

* We were rejected like lepers, but Jesus took pity on us and took us in.

* He lost His life for us to find life.

* He became our Mediator, since we ourselves had no "throne" privileges.

* We had no foundation, but He offered Himself as our eternal foundation.

* We were on sinking sand, when He placed us on the Solid Rock.

* We were in the deepest darkness, and Christ brought us Light.

* He gave us our sight, when we were totally blind.

* He became our Hope, when we lost hope.

* His love is so great and powerful that it pulled us up out of the miry clay and set our feet upon the Rock, Jesus Christ.

* Though He was rich, became poor for our sake, that we might be rich through His poverty.

* Christ's resurrection means that we, who died to self and put on Christ, will also be resurrected in the last days.

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

My friend, I wonder where you've been
When He suffered and died on Calvary's hill?
Dear friend, how couldn't you have seen
When He freely surrendered His will?

What are you waiting for, dear friend
He did call your name long before
It was His Love until the bitter end
as He sacrificed His inner core

Didn't you hear His cry so loud
When He was forsaken, and left alone?
Didn't you see His hand reaching out
To save your soul, your skin and bone?

Come now to Him and grasp His Hand
Allow Him to be your Friend and Lord
Let Him make straight that which is bent
And He'll provide you with new support

It is never too late, to follow in His lane
This time be willing to surrender your ALL
Bring Him all your cares and daily pain
Come now to Him and answer His call !

Matthew 11:28-30 ... "Come unto Me, ALL you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

A man who was very distraught, and had given up on life, was sitting on his couch with a 38 in his hand, he had already placed the gun to his head once, but did not pull the trigger...

Meanwhile, there was a preacher who was at his church, he had decided to work late so he called his wife to let her know that he would be a little late getting in..the phone rang and rang, but no-one answered so he hung up. The name of the church where he was pastor was "The LORD IS MY SHEPARD".

The pastor called back about thirty minutes later, his wife answered, and he asked her why did you not answer the phone when I called a few minutes ago, his wife said " I have been sitting here for the last hour, and the phone has not rang once". So the pastor thought to himself I must have he dismissed it.

Meanwhile the man with the gun on his couch, had raised the gun a second time and was fixing to end it all, in a split second, so he said aloud "LORD IF YOU ARE THERE, PLEASE GIVE ME A SIGN, for I am fixing to pull this trigger... at that very moment his phone, not wanting to speak to anyone at that moment he looked at his caller I.D. and it read... THE LORD!

Needless to say, he did NOT answer it, and he took it as a sign from the LORD as he had asked for one...So he put the gun down, said thanks to the LORD, and gave his life to Christ and was transformed into a God loving, happy person.

A few weeks went by and he decided to call the number that had showed up on his caller I.D. "Hello" came the pastor's voice from the above mentioned church, what can I do for you, the preacher asked....You have already DONE IT said the man, and he gave him the testimony of what had taken place the night that he was going to end it all.

So the pastor said, you have found the LORD in your life and things are going much better now? Yes said the man... for the LORD made you dial a wrong number that night, just so I would get HIS MESSAGE... and I did.
Well... well, the pastor said:

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:27).

Who creates Religion?

Really, God does not create "religion", He created a relationship between Himself and His own "making"; mankind. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to "Improve" on this relationship. The ones who have accepted this offer of redemption may have a direct contact with the Father, through Christ.

"Religion" to me sounds rigid; something like following rules and regulation... if you don't do this or that you will suffer... etc.

Following Christ and walking in His footsteps is voluntarily and a way of life. Rather a joy than being pressured. A love relationship with God. No talk, but ACTION!

The more one realizes what Christ Jesus sacrificed to present eternal life, the closer they want to follow Him. Then religion will become something they don't want. There is no life in religion, but there is life in God.

For the bread of God is He which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world (John 6:33).

I don't like to use the word "Christianity" or "Christian" too much, because it can be stretched far beyond its borders. A "follower of Christ" is far more specific and has a true meaning, according to God's word.

Some "Christians" may push their beliefs on others and pretend they are better. This is false pretention.
The follower of Christ knows that all that they are in Christ is because of Him...NOT them. It should be the believer's life, attitude, character, care etc which should bring out the Christ, NOT their talk only.

Sadly enough many Evangelical movements are after the $$ more than the souls. Especially the ones who live in luxury(of the collected $$). Is that Christianity or Religion?

Jesus didn't even have a pillow to rest His head upon... I mean this... His followers should live simple and sober lives. We are placed upon this globe to help others to enter into the Kingdom of God, not to force them in and neither to get rich of them.

Jesus also said: "Learn of me for I am humble and meek..." Just wondering how many are listening to God's word.

The greatest problem with "Christians" in general is that they are not spiritually inclined; not focusing upon God or His word, but more upon the things they see, feel, taste, hear... the carnal mind...
This way they'll slowly (but sure)lose out on the touch of God. And... exactly at this point is where RELIGION enters in, which they have created themselves.

One's life should be Christ-like, never mind "Religion". It were the Pharisees who were religious, and read what became of them!

I have dealt with thousands of people, as a profesional therapist/counselor, through my website, providing free help to all in need, whatever this may be. I have seen lives completely changed and even set free from the bondage of satan, and many miraculous healing and restoration. Not because of religion, but because of Jesus Christ. Many of these testimonies are placed througout my website.

Since I am a follower of Christ, I have the best in mind for anyone who contacts me. WHY?? you may ask...

This can be a very long, but amazing, answer. I happen to be one of you... yes... I went through a troubled life, devastation of war, chilling after effects which pushed me nearly over the brim, a ruined young life without much future... until Christ met me and rescued me...NOT RELIGION... the rest of my story can be found, and more, on my main web site
A Christian Counselor

God is seeking a relationhip with you, believe me! He is Not in religion.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

Blessings to you all.

For the sake of humanity and in the service of Jesus, the Christ.

Followers of Christ do not seek signs, as the Pharisees do, but they happen because God confirms His word, as it is preached. AMEN!!

Florida Man is Raised from the Dead when Doctor Obeys God's Voice to Pray that He Will Live Again.
Aimee Herd (March 3, 2008)

All of a sudden these words came out, "Father, I cry out for this man's soul, if he does not know You, raise him from the dead."

EDITOR'S NOTE: One of the "callings" that we feel the Lord has given us here at BCN, is to report on the good and often miraculous things God is doing on Earth in our time. In pursuing this, we've uncovered some wonderfully encouraging reports from all over the world, some even about resurrections.

It's always amazing to read a testimony about someone being raised from the dead in another—often third world—country, but when it happens in your own nation, it's especially exciting. Such is the case this time, with the story that follows, and my thanks to Pastor Kenneth Lieberman for alerting me to it.
As incredible and newsworthy as the report seems, it has unfortunately received little press coverage. I'm hoping our subscribers will not only read this remarkable account, but pass it on to many others—to the glory of God. Nothing is impossible with Him! -Aimee Herd, BCN.

(Florida, USA)—Just a story about Dr. Chauncey Crandall would be interesting enough on its own; a Christian doctor who practices medicine in Palm Beach, Florida, and prays with his patients.

"The reason I pray for people is because I found, early in my trained practice, that there were miracles, unexplained healings," explains Dr. Crandall.

But when a man named Jeff Markin walked into the Palm Beach Gardens Hospital Emergency Room, and promptly collapsed on the floor due to a massive heart attack, the most astounding miracle was about to be witnessed.

According to the WSVN 7-News report, Markin could not be revived even after many efforts by hospital staff. By the time his heart had been stopped for nearly an hour, the call went out for Dr. Crandall.

"As I entered the ER it was like a war zone," recounted Crandall. "Here was this lifeless body on a stretcher. His face, his arms, his legs were pitch black with death. I said, 'Let's just call the code, let's end it because there's no life left.'"

But just as Dr. Crandall was walking out of the room, he heard from God.

"A voice told me to turn around and pray for that man. I looked down at the body, and I said, 'Lord, what can I pray for this man? He's gone.' All of a sudden these words came out, 'Father, I cry out for this man's soul, if he does not know You, raise him from the dead,'" the doctor said.

Although the hospital staff was already preparing Markin's body for the morgue, Dr. Crandall asked for him to be shocked one more time. When they finally did, Markin's heart began to beat perfectly, and he started breathing on his own.

Jeff Markin wasn't a Believer before the day he was resurrected, but is now attending church.

Watch the 7-News video of this amazing resurrection from the dead. Read the full account at the link provided.

Can one lose Salvation?

The scriptures are clear on the subject, as seen in this post. If one strays away from God's truth and hardens his heart, he/she is voluntarily walking out of God's hand, away from His protection, leaving salvation behind.

Nevertheless, one who follows the Lord in His footsteps and keeps his/her garment cleansed by the Blood of Jesus, walking in His will, has no fear to lose his/her salvation. This is when the following scripture applies:
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand." John 10:27,28

God's word warns us, therefore there must be a real danger of losing one's soul, otherwise these warnings would be futile. Therefore we must take the warnings of God seriously.

Ezekiel 18: 24 + 26... But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.
verse 26... When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies.

Hebrews 3:12...Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;...

Hebrews 10:26... For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. Verse 29... Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, a holy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (KJV).
Paul is speaking here to the believers in Jesus Christ, and the possible consequences of sin mentioned.

John 15:4... Abide in Me, and I in you... Verse 6... If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Abide in Me... is a command... not a statement.

We can easily understand from Jesus' words, that salvation is not the end, but the beginning of our walk with the Lord and the means to grow in grace and transformation into His likeness. Growing in God and following in His footsteps is ACTIVE. It is MOTION in God's direction. It is participation with God, and it takes endurance.

Matthew 10:22b... But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Matthew 7:21...Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who DOES the will of My Father in heaven.

2 Peter 3:17...You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked.

Here, Peter clearly warns for the POSSIBILITY of being led astray.
And where do you think the wicked is going to be... lost forever... in hell!
The error of the wicked... is followed by eternal death, that is were the apostle warns for.

Although salvation is NOT by works, once saved we have to abide in Him, fight the good fight, run the race, take up the armor, carry our cross, crucify the old nature, surrender our will to the Father, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us.

Phil 3:18,19 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Revelation 2:10,11...Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.

2 Timothy 1:12...For I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that HE IS ABLE to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.

TO KEEP WHAT? that which I have committed. "COMMITTED" being the Key-word to stay on the right path.

Go in the peace of God!
